In culinary school, we learned that a chef is only as good as an omelet.  Well, it's scary.  I've learned that it doesn't really have to be.  Omelets are no scarier than good fried eggs.  A gentle drag then makes the cheese and the perfect blanket for your favorite filling.  Here are some tips to help you become a master chef at breakfast.

  One of my favorite Italian desserts is the classic Tiramisu.  Rich and creamy in texture with a hint of espresso, almonds, and chocolate.  What not to like  As a professional chef, I have my share of classic tiramisu dishes, but I always thought it should take a few more steps with it.  Therefore, I decided to recreate a classic tiramisu recipe to include all tastes, but less of a nuisance.

  How to make my Tiramisu recipe in 10 minutes

  Is it different from the rest of the 10-minute Tiramisu?  Well, usually this dessert requires you to separate the eggs, make the custard, then turn it into another mixture with whipped cream and mascarpone cheese - and this is just the first step.  The bottom line, all you need to make a killer is tiramisu fresh heavy dairy cream, mascarpone cheese, sugar, and good vanilla.

  Now all you have to do is mix these ingredients together, and layer with the classic ladyfingers.  I swear to you that no one will say "I really miss eggs," especially because they are too busy talking about how gorgeous your tiramisu is.

  Just as important is the mascarpone moose filling ladyfinger biscuits that line the tiramisu.

  While store-bought here will do, they can be hard to find or you can't keep them on hand.  Not to worry, because I have two different ladyfingers recipes!  One is for classic homemade ladyfingers and the other is for egg-free ladyfingers.  Both of these recipes are super simple cookie recipes that have some basic ingredients.

  To finish my 10-minute Tiramisu recipe, I gave a little extra love to the presentation and it is also a cinch.  I simply pipe small mounds of the sweet mascarpone mixture on top of my tiramisu and sprinkle with cocoa powder.

  Once I made it a 10-minute classic, I was inspired by Bold Bakers to experiment with other flavor variations.  Many of you asked if more chocolate could be added or if there were flavors other than coffee.

  With these questions, I went to the kitchen and made two different changes on my 10-minute tiramisu: my 10-minute summer berry tiramisu and my 10-minute chocolate tiramisu.  This means that there is a fruity variation for those who like fresh bright fruity flavors, a gorgeous chocolate version for all those chocoholics. This recipe doubles by adding a layer of rich chocolate mascarpone mousse over the chocolate!
